A quiet invitation
Become a
PuppetMom.
Mom's hands are full. Bert has found more friends than she ever expected, and her sewing table only fits so many. If you love to sew — really, truly love it — we're looking for a few kindred spirits to help bring more Berts into the world.
Selective by design · Vetted personally by mom · Work from your own sewing room

Let's be straight with each other
This isn't a get-rich-quick thing.
It's not really a get-rich thing at all. We're not building a factory. We're building a small circle of exceptional sewists who care more about the smile on a kid's face than about hitting a quota.
When orders for Bert come in, customers will be able to choose their PuppetMom — mom, you, or someone else in the circle. You sew Bert in your own sewing room, on your own schedule, package him with care, and ship him off. We handle the storefront, the payments, and the customer relationship.
In return, you get a fair share of every Bert you make, the quiet joy of sending heirlooms out into the world, and a tiny, warm community of people who get it.
Who we're looking for
You have to be awesome. Like, mom-awesome.
We're a small operation and every Bert carries our name. We'd rather take our time finding the right people than grow fast and ship something that doesn't feel right.
Genuinely exceptional
Years of experience. Clean seams, even tension, careful finishes. The kind of work you're proud to put your name on.
In love with the craft
You sew because you love it — not because it's a side hustle. Bonus if you've made puppets, plush, or costumes before.
Patient & people-warm
Each Bert is for a specific person. You take the extra minute to make it just right, because you know who's going to hug it.
Today's PuppetMoms

How it works
From hello to your first Bert.
- 1
You apply
Fill out the short form below — tell us who you are, where you've been sewing, and why this little corner of the internet caught your eye.
- 2
We get to know you
Mom (or one of us) will reply personally. Expect a friendly call and a few questions about your work and process.
- 3
Sample Bert
If we both feel a fit, we send you the pattern and materials list. You sew a sample Bert so we can see your stitching in person.
- 4
Welcome to the sewing room
If your sample sings, you're in. Customers can choose you on the order page, and Berts start finding their way to your machine.

"I never imagined Bert would need help. If you love sewing the way I do — and you can't help smiling when you finish a piece — I'd be honored to share my pattern and my customers with you."— Mom

Short and sweet. Mom reads every one of these personally and writes back to the ones she'd love to learn more about.
